Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) Processing
Plastic Molded Concepts, Inc. produces high quality precision components with skilled PPS glass fiber processing capabilities utilizing grade series RTP 1309 and R-22025. Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) features 50% glass fiber and is a high temperature performance organic polymer made of aromatic rings and linked sulfides. PPS maintains its strength and rigidity over temperature ranges, has excellent elevated temperature resistance, is inherently self-extinguishing, and exhibits advanced electrical properties. Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is also resistant to chemicals, has low moisture absorption and superior dimensional stability. At Plastic Molded Concepts, Inc. we create complex, high tolerance parts with our injection molding process, which is specifically designed to handle the demands of molding with engineering grade resins.
Products are created with PPS for the medical, aerospace, electronics, filtration, and defense industries, upholding the highest industry standards for quality and integrity. As a complement to our molding services, we offer a number of value added ancillary services including part detailing, welding, assembly, and packaging. For more about our PPS (glass fiber) processing capabilities, and products available using this and other resins please see the table below or contact us directly.
